All I did was a weber 32/36 dgv and it definitely improved power, but not like adding 100hp but something your can feel.

Its my first nissan first carbed first pickup too. I had jeeps in the past which I loved but I need pickup, and so far I love this thing it exceded my expectations. since I work in a toyota dealer im kind of a taboo since I own a nissan. Everyday after work I feel so much better to drive this then a tacoma.

Nissan/Datto world is a small one.  How are you liking your 720 ?  Is it your first ?  This is my first 720 but def not my first Nissan product and I love it.  So much so that I am considering spending 7500 or so putting an engine out of a Hardbody and redoing everything to make it a like new driver as opposed to buying a new frontier……an of course it allows me to justify buying a new 370z as a weekend toy ha.

Hey thanks man! Its been fun fixing it up n driving it... Time to upgrade once again ;).

I'm running 32x11.5 bfg at ko.... A lil old, funny enough entire runs and tires came off my buddies rolled 4Runner (he owned both trucks previous to me but left it all nasty a'la' before pictures). The truck sat in the desert for 4 years then I've had it active off n on for the last 3... Tons of meat on the tires but they are starting to look a lil dry.

N no, I have no power problems at this size ;) truck does great and gas mileage isn't even bad considering the weber and headers I installed.

I've already got the front bumper, new rubber bumper ends and all the front end stuff is ready to go back together - just want to finish up this motor work first. I wish I could find a wrecking yard around here that still had some early 80's 720's! Everything that old has been crushed around Dallas. I'm going to go completely through this nasty ragged interior probably this summer - I'm even stripping the dash out and dying all the plastic black. Let me know if you see another dash with the wood grain like yours - I'd like one like that.

Chris, where did you get the shift knob? This is gonna be my sons first truck in a couple of years and he would S#%t to have one of those shift knobs! Cool ride you got and very clean too. Also is that an after market shifter boot? Where could I get one of those as well? Our truck was trashed pretty bad when we got it and if you look at my pics of it on my profile you can tell the interior is gonna take a heck of a lot of work - like as in COMPLETE!! Everything that I can get a hold of is gonna be new or recovered or replaced with good used or fabricated from scratch - that's what I get for paying 50.00 for a truck - right? But is been (so far) a fun project for me and my 14 year old son. Anyway your truck looks great! Ttyl - Dean.
