What modifications have you done to your truck(s)
Weber 32/36 carb. herculiner bed liner, roll bar with spots, "zook" mod on rear suspension, Isuzu rodeo seats.
What modifications do you still plan to do to your truck(s)
not much- would like to figure out how to get better mileage. Still getting 16-17 mpg even with the weber.
How many miles would you travel to attend an all 720 truck meet?

Hi David, thanks for updating your information.  What I'll do now is go through and take a look at all the answers, and see how many actual active members we have, and then decide what is the best thing to do in order to cover the costs of running the website.  I'm not looking to make money on this deal, I'm just trying to make it self sufficient.  So, donations are welcome any time, but I'll let everyone know what's going to happen for paid membership with at least a month or so in advance of it happening.  I'm going to try to keep as much of the website free to use as possible.  If anyone has donated $20 or more in the last year, they'll automatically get the premium membership for the first year.  So that's the plan, please stay tuned!  And thanks for the words of support, they mean a lot!

Jim Hilton (aka Big Jim) is kind of our official Weber guru here, he's a long time member and supporter, and runs his own business.  He should be able to hook you up with parts and advice on jetting.

Pretty cool info about the 720 in Kenya!  16-17 mpg is about average for these trucks (4wd), not sure you could do much better, they weren't every efficient engines.  All I can suggest is to jet the carb using a wideband O2 meter to lean it out as much as you safely can without causing pre-ignition and use synthetic lubes in the transmission, transfer and finals.  Larger tires really eat up the fuel mileage.  2wd's can do better but 22-24 highway is about the best I've ever heard.
