What is the main reason you'd like to join 720World? (dont just say "because I own a 720", if you do this you will not be approved)
general discussion, share like interests and possibly share personal experiences with working with the 720
What is your profession? (not required, just if you want to share your knowledge)
Hello. I am the proud owner of a 1985 Nissan 720 KC 4x4. I am 35 years old and have been in the Army for 17 years where I provide my services as an Army mechanic on wheeled vehicles. I am married to my wife Christina for going on six years now and have three children (all boys yay!). My hobbies are messing with my boys, working on my truck, trail riding and rock crawling.
How many 720's or other Nissan trucks do you own? What years and types?
no longer own it but I owned a single cab '83 720 ST. bad frame rust resulted in having to put it out of its misery or put myself out of my misery.
What modifications have you done to your truck(s)
the '83 was lowered by torsion keys, had a stereo installed, hardbody wheels and emissions removed with a little 32/36 weber. my '85 is running a 38 dges weber with emissions removed and interior done in full black with oem factory door panels (ty junkyard!) summit racing buckets left and right mounted on some aftermarket seat brackets, ST steering wheel with quick release, stereo system stuff. IFS has been removed and swapped for some aftermarket ProComp Toyota leaf springs and a 85 Toyota 4-runner front axle (long truss). Has a Trail Gear hi-steer tie rod and a manipulated Toyota / Nissan steering linkage. winch installed. front brush guard installed. bed shortened 12 in., power locks, power windows and alarm.
What modifications do you still plan to do to your truck(s)
33-12.50r15, Toyota 8 in. solid rear axle and disc brake conversion, spool for the front axle and locker for the rear axle. dual transfer case setup pondered. further mods include full width 1/2 ton axles and some nice 15x10 beadlockers on some 35's
How many miles would you travel to attend an all 720 truck meet?
