Weber Carb For 1982 Z-24

Can someone please direct me to a thread for a Weber Carb on a 1992? I had done the research before for my 84 but I have sold mine and let all my printouts go with it. My 16 year old has an 82 that was running fine before the carb started pisssing fuel. Figured an electric choke Weber was the fix for this. Is this a half day/full day project for a person with moderate mechanical experience? Thanks in advance for any help with this. Josh in TexasSee More

"We all deserve it. I bought a $150 running Z24 (automatic motor) out of an '84 truck that wrecked. It was well known and a good runner. When I got it home and pulled the tranny off to return it, the flex plate said '89 D21!!! So it was 4…"

Ok, so many of u know I am rebuilding my 2.4 and doing a c tranny swap.....so I go last week and find a core "c" tranny at the wrecking yard for $125, only guarantee is it's rebuildable, bring back within 30 days....etc. etc.  Get the first tranny to my good friend who has been a Nissan tech for 20 years, puts it in the tranny washing machine, tears it apart, counter shaft smooth broke in two pieces. Without a vehicle I borrow a gas guzzling suburban and make the 40 mile round trip to the…See More
