King cab side window weatherstrip/window seals

Okay everyone, I have been hunting for the side window (pop-out) weatherstripping/window seal for a long time to no avail. I have contacted a company that makes or sells weatherstripping about this, while I am waiting on their reply, I was curious if there is anyone else on here that is in need of these seals? I figured that I cannot be the only one with deteriorated remnants of these seals, so I this present this question/proposition.If the company does not already have them, or has previously…See More

"So I talked to an autometer rep and he said to use the 75/10 ohm gauge which is 75 empty, 10 full. Which should work perfectly. Now there will still be fuel in the tank when it reads empty and pretty much right on at the top end, but who cares. Also…"

"I thought I was having an issue with my fuel sending unit a while back, while it did not turn out that it was the problem, I do know that 93ohms indicates "empty". If the aftermarket one indicates in the opposite direction, I would think…"

"Well I drained my tank and checked the resistance at the connector into the cab and measured ~93 ohms so that is a start. But I did also find another post on here and it was saying ~10 full and ~80+ full. So my question now is with most 0/90 gauges…"

Hey guys, quick question...maybe. So first off 1984 720 king cab deluxe z24 4wd.Okay so my question is what is the resistance range of the fuel sending unit? I am getting ready to put in a full set of gauges and need to know which fuel level gauge to buy. Also while I'm at it, does anyone have experience with installing and electronic speedo? My question there is what was used for the signal to the gauge? For now I will be getting an inexpensive autometer gauge, but eventually will be putting in…See More

1 piece rear window gasket

Okay guys quick question, my 84 king cab has a multi piece slider rear window, I was looking up part numbers and it seems as though there are several different solid rear windows. My question is is it possible to put a solid rear window in in place of the sliding style?I am curious if the gaskets are interchangeable between years, and also between standard and king cabs? Also I was wondering if anyone knew of a source for the rear window gasket for either style glass, slider or solid. The local…See More

I guess I can start this little rant with the back story first...well I got bored! So my engine decided it no longer needed any upper compression rings, started noticing a mid-fire in one cylinder...long story short, rebuild is underway, truck is immobile...block, rods, crank and head are at the machine shop so I have really nothing to do. Well I got bored and decided I would try and figure out the cause of the creaking and moaning that has become ever so predominant while driving...found some…See More
