"That's interesting, I only have one located on the fender near the battery, and it' looks the same as your pic. on the bottom.
I have not seen the relay on top unless it is located "in the cab" instead.
I should note that I have…"
"I was looking over the circuitry for this relay last night. It's a DPST relay which isn't a very common configuration for relays. It's controlling power to the carb electronics (fuel air solenoid and the anti-dieseling…"
"Oh, I don't know...I bought my NC (3rd gen.) because it IS a little bigger than the others. I am 6ft. tall and 210lbs., I have no issue fitting in it.
All the other versions (NA, NB, and ND) don't fit…"
"Yeah I never owned a Mazda before the 2012 6. So I had no idea of what to expect. It was the most problem free car I've ever owned. 250,000 miles without ever an engine problem of any kind. The only thing you have to put…"
"I didn't know that, but that's pretty awesome.
obviously, by my forum name, I had a Mazdaspeed 6 at the time and really lived it, but it came down to a house or the car, soo....
I had the first year and it had some teething pains but…"
"Btw I don't recall if I ever told you but I have two Mazda 6's. the 2013 Grand Touring I currently drive just took the place if my 2012 that had just teached 250K mIles on it when it started losing compression in a few…"
"I think it's location near the battery, and the fact that it stays energized any time the key switch is on is what leads to problems with this relay, connector and wiring.
I don't have any work-arounds for this. What I've done…"
What is your profession? (not required, just if you want to share your knowledge)
Like to work on my cars to the point of annoyance to the lazier people around me. Also love to travel with my girlfriend and go to SCCA and Koni Challenge, LeMans, type of racing events.
I Like to camp, hike, bike, pretty much anything outdoors really...and let's not forget about drinking quality beer!!
How many 720's or other Nissan trucks do you own? What years and types?
Only own one 1984 King Cab 4x4 with the Z24 and 5 spd.
What modifications have you done to your truck(s)
Complete urethane bushing and camber correcting A-arm install plus new stereo, sub and amp. Treated the bed myself and also did my own body work and primer/wet sand for the new paint to be done, had to rebuild the front end due to a deer hit from past owner (that's how I bought it) but it only has 135,000 miles on it and runs good.
What modifications do you still plan to do to your truck(s)
Fix the rust on the bed seams or put on a replacement bed and have it painted properly this time around.
How many miles would you travel to attend an all 720 truck meet?
well i am not set on the 15, i would like to go to a 31 10.50 15 but if i found those rims at a good price i would get a metric tire size that was equal to it. thanks for the response. i may just stick with my chrome factory steelies, better for off roading, was considering a alloy to save some weight to offset the bigger tires mass. but we will see
Hey, I'm looking to install a pair of 5.25" in the kick panels like you have in this picture: http://720world.ning.com/photo/2016119:Photo:4659
Did you to some cutting, or did you just put a spacer between the metal and the speaker? If you cut the metal, did you cut the vertical divider on the left side of the stock 4" hole? If so, did it impact anything? Was anything on the other side of it? I've never installed a stereo before, but I'm excited to learn. I plan on a JVC head unit, 5.25"s in the kickers and 6x9's behind the seat.
Thanks, you can respond to me here or at firstname.lastname@example.org
